Handmade Sin In A Tin Confections

SIN IN A TIN Chocolate Pâté is based on an old French recipe handed down to Chef William Guthrie during the 1980’s. Guthrie perfected the recipe, then served it in fine dining restaurants in Dallas. It was so popular that he decided to take it to a wider audience. A patron came up with the idea of putting it in a tin and calling it “sin”. SIN IN A TIN was born!

Chef Guthrie eventually left the restaurant biz and focused on bringing two delicious desserts to a wider audience. SIN IN A TIN and LEMON LUST are now sold in supermarkets and gourmet food shops around the country.

GLUTEN-FREE

SIN IN A TIN Chocolate Pâté is an indulgent dessert like no other. It’s made of 60% fine bittersweet chocolate. The 8 ounce dessert and the PARTY LOG contain no flour (gluten), preservatives, or other artificial ingredients.

Packaged in a fun, reusable tin, Sin In A Tin makes a great gift for Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, July Fourth, hostess gifts, teachers gifts, Mardi Gras and more. Many people keep Sin In A Tin in the freezer as an elegant, quick dessert for unexpected guests.

STORAGE

The best way to store Sin In A Tin is frozen. It will last two years in the freezer. It will last about a month in the refrigerator. Frozen Sin In A Tin travels well. It can be refrozen if it partially thaws out. But if it completely thaws out, it should be eaten and not refrozen.

LEMON LUST LEMON CRISP TART

The perfect foil for chocolaty SIN IN A TIN is lemony LEMON LUST!

Handmade with fresh lemons, unbleached flour, whole creamery butter and no artificial ingredients, LEMON LUST bursts with lemony flavor. It can be complimented with fresh berries, berry purée, ice cream and anything else you can imagine. Try alternating wedges of Lemon Lust and Sin In A Tin. Lemon Lust can be cut to finger food size portions for cocktails or teas. They taste even better when slightly warmed. Lemon Lust goes great with brie and your favorite white wine too! (Especially PinotGrigio, Sauvignon Blanc & Sparkling).

PLEASE DO NOT MICROWAVE! Lemon Lust can be slightly warmed in an oven.

Sealed in an individual clear plastic container, Lemon Lust makes a great gift. It needs no refrigeration and can be successfully sent overseas. Lemon Lust has an unrefrigerated shelf-life of at least a week.

PARTY LOG

The PARTY LOG is 2 pounds 12 ounces of chocolate heaven. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, Mardi Gras, Valentines, office parties, hostess gifts, July 4th and more. Keep one in the freezer for unexpected guests. Serve an elegant dessert effortlessly by slicing, putting on plates, and surrounding with berry sauce.  See Heavenly Creations for recipes.

For the Holidays: the Party Log is a gluten-free alternative to the classic bûche de Noël, or Christmas log. The Christmas log honors the yule log that was dragged in the house during the holidays in medieval times. It’s traditionally made of cake. The Sin In A Tin Party Log is pure chocolate pâté—no cake, no flour, no gluten. A welcome relief from pumpkin, pecans and sugar overload.

KEEP SIN IN A TINS AND PARTY LOGS IN YOUR FREEZER FOR UNEXPECTED GUESTS, GIFTS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS.
